The Thumbprint of Mukhtar Mai

I was cast in a one woman play by Susan Yankowitz called ‘The Thumbprint of Mukhtar Mai’ which was performed at the Bread and Roses Theatre in Clapham. The monologue reveals Mukhtar Mai’s journey as a young peasant woman, who astonished even herself by becoming the first woman in Pakistan to bring her rapists to justice.

This was performed as part of the Unheard Festival produced by Goblin Baby Theatre Company. Further details here.
